Technology and Youth Ministry

Today I am blessed to and speak at my alma-mater, Heritage Christian University. My topic is technology and youth ministry. My goal was to share helpful websites that can help you with your ministry. Here are a few of my favorites:

  1. Open.LifeChurch.tv – site where churches can download and use creative content for free.
  2. Creationswap – Church Graphics to download by Christian artists around the world. Many are free some cost $5 or less.
  3. Graphic Driver – sell layout templates for InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Brochures, posters, business cards, etc..
  4. Vintage Church – free designs from sermon series.
  5. iStock – This is a stock photo site. But if you register they give away one free picture a week.
  6. Photo Shop Lady – great blog to see how to do cool things in Photoshop.
  7. Photoshop Cafe – Photoshop Tutorials, Tips, free resource for Photoshop and lightroom users.
  8. Prezi.comPrezi is a cloud-based presentation software that opens up a new world between whiteboards and slides. The zoomable canvas makes it fun to
  9. Mail Chimp – Free email marketing service from MailChimp. Design, send, and track HTML email campaigns with our simple tools. Get a fully functional free account.
  10. Mister Nifty.com – great blog on technology!
  11. Ministry Vault.com – great blog on technology! Also have a podcast.
  12. Stuff I Can Use Blog – This has tons of freebies.
  13. Square – Credit card reader that can attach to your iPhone or Android phone. You can take credit cards on your phone. It cost 3% per transaction.
  14. Youth Ministry 6.3 – this is a YouTube site hosted by Robbie Mackenzie. He interviews people about youth ministry.
